Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership. Influences key decisions through data analysis and offers recommendations to senior leadership teams. Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed. Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects. Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvements. Develops and delivers presentations. May develop and implement data collection systems and strategies, program and build solutions (e.g. apps, software), and work with qualitative data. Develops end user training on new or revised procedures for the BI solution, processes, and /or systems. Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to identify any gaps in infrastructure based on business requirements gathered.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Strong critical thinking skills, detail oriented, and logical approach to solving problems
- Demonstrated proficiency writing SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, or other database experience.
- Experience with building Dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, and/or similar data visualization tools and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel advanced features and functions
- Ability to work in a team, with technical and non-technical personnel, and across functional areas
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Math, Economics, Statistics
- Knowledge of Sourcing, Planning, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations
- Experience with SAP ERP and SAP Business Objects tools
- Working knowledge of a programming language and ability to learn new languages as required.
- 3+ years of experience using data analytics, statistics, and predictive modeling to solve business problems
