Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Change Manager responsible for managing an evolving portfolio of projects; the project count will vary based on complexity and scale. This partner will work with the executive sponsor, project leader, change leader, and other key contributors to develop a comprehensive change strategy and a detailed change plan. These efforts will include the implementation timeline, adoption/success metrics, partner and/or customer insights, communications, and training. 

Key Responsibilities Include:  

Develop timeline for building and deploying communications and training based on business constraints and major milestones identified by change leader in assessment phase 

Develop simple end user (typically field-facing) reporting to drive adoption and identify opportunities for follow-up training and/or accountability 

Escalate organizational or departmental readiness concerns to change leader, project leader, and business project manager to account for all upstream activities critical to project success 

Build pre-deployment insights plan with OCM services to fill in gaps in stakeholder analysis, especially to uncover partner concerns and potential barriers to success 

Map key messages to impacted stakeholders to develop comprehensive communications strategy; Coordinate with change leader, project leader, and business leadership to cascade unified message through organization 

Identify training needs and curate curriculum for each impacted department and role based on change impacts assessment

Skill/Qualifications: 

  • Project management — Plans and prioritizes own work and the work of others. Familiar with project management tools and methodology to organize cross-functional team. Identifies and mitigates risks with leadership. 
  • Verbal and written communication — Synthesizes organizational strategy to its essence. Articulates processes, problems, and solutions. Effectively asks questions, expresses ideas, requests actions from others, and formulates plans or policies. 
  • Presentation Skills: Communicates with clarity, charisma, and enthusiasm to every level of the organization, from front line to executive leadership. Builds trust with and wins over audiences with thoughtful and honest direction.  

 

Required 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum five years of experience in organizational transformation, operational leadership, or related field 
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, including overnight travel
