Job Description
Cintas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Performance Strategist to join the Digital Technology team. Responsibilities for this role include driving measurable business growth through data-driven management and continuous optimization of the website. This role owns website performance analytics, conversion rate optimization strategy, and experimentation efforts, using quantitative and qualitative insights to improve user journeys, engagement, and conversion outcomes. This role is crucial in helping us understand user behavior, optimize the user experience, maximize the performance of our web properties and digital marketing campaigns. This role involves working closely with marketing, UX/UI design, and development teams to optimize user experience, increase engagement, and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of website performance and campaigns.
- Lead the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) program by identifying optimization opportunities across key user journeys and funnels, developing test hypotheses, and prioritizing experimentation based on data, user behavior, and business impact.
- Leverage heatmapping tools to monitor application performance, analyze user behavior, and extract actionable insights that drive optimization of digital experiences, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Own the end-to-end measurement strategy for the website, including Google Analytics (GA4) configuration, event tracking, conversion definitions, and data quality validation.
- Manage and administer tag management system (TMS) to ensure accurate and efficient deployment of website analytics tags.
- Manage TMS governance and standards by troubleshooting tag issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) through proper tag governance and consent management.
- Manage and maintain the cookie consent management platform, ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Conduct regular audits of website cookie usage and update cookie policies as necessary.
- Monitor changes in cookie compliance regulations and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Design and build solutions to empower stakeholders to self-serve analytical needs.
- Conduct performance audits and provide actionable insights to improve user experience and drive conversions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Provide training and support to team members on user experience and website analytics tools so our data is being utilized for actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in digital analytics to ensure analytics objectives align with business goals.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 years of digital marketing/analytics experience.
Preferred
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, and cookie compliance tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while meeting scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and marketing strategies.
- Experience with Sitefinity or equivalent CMS.
- Experience with Marketing Automation or other email distribution platforms.
