Job Description

The key objective of this position is to assist with the configuration and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (SAP SuccessFactors) for the US and Canada and managing the outsourcing vendors to ensure usability, availability, and legal compliance.

 

Key activities include configuring and managing the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and WorkForce Software systems, defining and modifying business process flows, completing unit and functional testing and coordinating SAP SuccessFactors Payroll and WorkForce Software maintenance releases. Assists with resolution of issues, ensuring data integrity and driving improvement opportunities. Ensures that the SAP SuccessFactors Payroll and WorkForce Software systems meets the customer’s business needs by providing internal consulting support and collaborating with external vendors. A successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with aggressive timelines.

  • Configures the SAP SuccessFactors systems to meet business requirements. Validates and approves configuration changes completed by an external vendor.
  • Creates detailed test plans, executes test scenarios, and documents results.
  • Collaborates with HR functional leads to optimize the system and ensure ongoing operations in designated modules.
  • Defines and modifies business process flows based on user requirements.
  • Resolves configuration and interface issues by researching and collaborating with external vendors. Identifies areas for improvements to improve customer service levels.
  • Supports data analysts as needed in areas such as resolving data issues and creating reports for customers.
  • Works with external vendor to define a release schedule and lead others to meet key milestones and dates.
  • Collaborates with HR training lead to update training documents.
  • Acts as liaison between outsourced vendors and internal IT.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system configuration.
  • Experience with SAP Payroll, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), WorkForce Software, or other HR cloud solution is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Payroll tax.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience defining business requirements and developing/executing detailed test plans.
  • Requires strong consulting and communication skills to provide recommendations and options to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to see the big picture to create solutions yet drill down to manage the detail.
  • Requires project management skills to define a release schedule and lead others to meet key milestones and dates.
  • Experience with interface files/data feeds and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
