Job Description
Cintas is seeking a paralegal to assist the Cintas Legal Group and the Fire Protection Division in managing its licensing, vital to successful operation around the country. This role will ensure Cintas maintains necessary licenses and registrations across all applicable jurisdictions and fire protection disciplines, and will be the key liaison in all communication between support staff, field operations, leadership, and legal.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Staying up-to-date with changes in licensing regulations while working with legal to research and summarize licensing requirements across the country.
- Tracking and recording up-to-date information on all company and individual licenses and/or certifications
- Collaborating with other employee-partners to maintain and update licensing databases
- Tracking and reporting upcoming license renewal and/or expiration deadlines
- Maintaining databases of the company’s license holders
- Working with other employee-partners to complete license renewals directly
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a law firm, or working with legal, compliance, or business/process improvement fields
- Self-disciplined and highly organized
- Comfortability with taking ownership of projects within context of larger team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to keep all confidential matters concerning affairs of Cintas in full confidence
- Ability and confidence to communicate effectively with field partners and management
- Experience with project management
- High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite applications (in particular, mastery of Excel), enterprise resource planning systems, Adobe Acrobat, Litigation Support Applications, and other internet research tools
