Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Manager of Operational Services responsible for leading Supervisors and their teams in delivering strong, consistent operational performance. This role supports teams that work within complex, matrixed workflows, and evolving business processes, ensuring service levels, clarity, and organizational stability. 

 

The Manager of Operational Services combines people leadership with process management. The role is accountable for developing leaders, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and guiding teams through ongoing process enhancements and updates to business workflows. The Manager will partner closely with Six Sigma, corporate departments, and internal business customers to implement new processes, support adoption, and drive key operational objectives. 

 

The Manager represents Operational Services across all levels of leadership, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and consistent execution of Operational Services priorities and longterm strategies. 

  

Responsibilities 

  • People Development & Coaching: Leads, develops, and empowers Supervisors and their teams through ongoing coaching, structured training, and clear careergrowth pathways. Builds a strong leadership pipeline by mentoring emerging leaders and fostering a highperformance, partnercentric culture. 
  • Project Leadership & Strategic Execution: Leads and manages crossfunctional projects tied to process optimization, workflow redesign, and futurestate development for Operational Services. Establishes project plans, tracks progress, mitigates risks, and ensures deliverables align with business goals. 
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Partners effectively with corporate functions, field leadership, and Shared Services teams to resolve complex customer and operational challenges. Facilitates information flow, ensures alignment on priorities, and leads collaborative problem-solving efforts that support Cintas’ business objectives. 
  • Accountability & Performance Management: Holds Supervisors and their teams accountable for meeting KPIs, quality standards, and operational goals. Conducts regular performance reviews and provides feedback to drive improvement. 
  • Customer & Stakeholder Focus: Ensures a customer-first approach by managing service levels, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Acts as a key escalation point for complex customer or operational issues, ensuring timely resolution. 

Skills/Qualifications

Required: 

  • High School / GED Equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% 

  

Preferred: 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in office support and management 
  • 2-4 years general supervision of support teams 
  • Strong analytical and planning skills 
  • Strong computer skills
