Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Merchandise Manager to work with customers to best understand and translate their expectations and needs into product solutions along with a client-specific business plan. Responsibilities include working with a cross-functional team to drive overall product and solution innovation from ideation through commercialization for current and new customers; analyzing current product offerings to market and customer progression; contributing to product strategy, product development and marketing for customers; ensuring quality of new product offerings; managing new product offering process to ensure appropriate communication and acceptable inventory, margin and profitability are maintained; building and maintaining a network for consistent product feedback across all relevant markets; collaboration with internal teams to ensure optimal range of product offering.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
  • Product innovation experience
  • Experience presenting to individuals and groups
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team
  • Apparel line management experience
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 20%, including overnight stays
  • Valid driver's license

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of apparel construction, fabrication and technologies
