Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Quality Specialist - Color Lab. Responsibilities include ensuring that the quality of all inbound product conforms to established specifications by performing random audits in accordance with the American National Standards (ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-1993). Also ensure that the quality of all outbound shipments from the distribution centers to customers conform to established specifications. Drive distribution/supplier/plant improvement in quality through data analysis and reporting. Manage communications and relationships with internal and external customers. Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage Data Color Lab
  • Organize all QTX files, and physical fabric samples
  • Manage the color lab visual HUE tests
  • Manage Resource & New development fabric approval process
  • Ability to create Smartsheet develop training process for the group
  • Travel to the Fabric Mills provide recommendation (as needed)
  • Attend SBR's (Supplier Business Review) meetings
  • Assist Senior Manager/Director of QA with generation /distribution of quality audit data in a timely and accurate manner. Provide/coordinate resolutions for failed audits in a timely manner, which can involve additional inspections, repairs or returns.
  • Policies, Systems and Controls Possess a working knowledge of Cintas policies and procedures and consistently function within the guidelines to ensure full compliance. Assist Senior Manager/Director of QA in updating/improving audit procedures for improved efficiency.
  • CQATS Administrative functions performs routine maintenance/profile administration within the Cintas Quality Audit Tracking System database.
  • Distribution Center/Quality Assurance Knowledge Gains practical knowledge of current DC operations and other areas of QA to support the department. Serves as a back-up support for other QA Managers as needed.
  • Cross Functional Coordination Coordinate with internal and external customers as needed, including Merchandising/Technical Design, Production Planning, Distribution, Sourcing and Field Engineering partners.
  • FS (Facility Services) Barcode Approval Process
  • Manage Case Label Barcode approvals
  • Share results with GSC Sourcing, Product Development, & Project Management
  • Review all FS barcode approval work with department QA specialist
  • Visit FS Distribution Centers to review FS Barcode issues/ provide recommendation to the QA manager
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
     

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Proficiency in Outlook including all its tools
  • Proficiency in MS Teams- Teams Meetings- includes setting up Team Groups/ Folders and files if needed
  • Experience in taking meeting notes and organizing the notes for business emails
  • Experience in facilitating and/or moderating meetings
  • Proficiency in presentation skills (in person or in a Teams Meeting)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint creation
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel basics
