Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Senior Director of Global Supply Chain (GSC) to lead and optimize the end-to-end Global Supply Chain function. This includes overseeing procurement, logistics, planning, and supplier management to ensure cost efficiency, operational excellence, and delivery performance.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and executing long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Leading demand forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization, and distribution networks.
  • Overseeing procurement, logistics, inbound/outbound transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Building and managing global supplier partnerships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance.
  • Identifying global supply risks and establishing mitigation strategies.
  • Managing supply chain budgets, cost reductions, and working capital.
  • Leading, coaching, and growing a high-performing global supply chain team; championing talent development and succession planning.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business
  • 12+ years in supply chain roles, with ~ 5 years at senior/leadership level in global environments.
  • Expertise in supply chain systems (ERP, advanced planning), process optimization, and analytics
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of global trade, compliance, sustainability, and risk management.

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
