Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to act as a relevant business advisor to our field leadership. In this role you will evaluate potential investments and strategies with a financial lens to ensure Cintas is making prudent use of capital and resources. You will partner with leadership to help them see around the corner through forecasting and strategic planning, and provide meaningful contributions to process improvement initiatives that will enable our department to add value in all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Analytical Activities
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and advice to business leaders. Predict the impact of potential decisions on cash flow and the bottom line. Assess and monitor the business’s overall financial health. Build and maintain detailed financial models. Identify and assess earnings opportunities and risks.
Forecasting & Strategic Planning
- As required per the specific division, prepare and/or assist with the monthly forecast using the designated model and analyze the forecast for accuracy. As necessary, work with management to present an accurate financial picture that is reflective of current trends and future plans. Assist senior business leadership with the annual strategic planning process, providing analysis and information to ensure an appropriate plan is developed.
Projections
- Ensure projections are completed accurately for locations and in accordance with the projection schedule. Assist in setting group or territory guidelines and effectively communicate with field management throughout the process.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in analyzing and interpreting important financial data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet
- Ability to travel up to 15% with overnight stays
Preferred
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in SAP and BPC
