Title:  Quality Auditor - Inbound - First Aid and Safety

Job Description

The Quality Auditor – Inbound is responsible for ensuring inbound products received at the FAS Distribution Center meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations prior to release into inventory. This role conducts product audits using the American National Standards Institute (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003 (R2028)) sampling methodology to verify product conformity and protect inventory integrity. The position supports quality assurance and operational excellence by identifying and managing non-conforming materials, monitoring compliance with established standards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Quality Auditor provides quality-related reporting and insights that support informed decision-making and customer satisfaction. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

Ensure inbound products meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations through inspection and audit activities, including verification of product specifications, labeling, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.  

Identify, document, and escalate quality issues, non-conforming products, and failed shipments; support investigations, corrective actions, and resolution with leadership.  

Maintain accurate quality records and system data, including audit documentation in CQATS, inventory-related quality information in SAP, quarantine activities, and quality reporting.  

Monitor inventory quality and compliance requirements, including shelf-life and expiration-date controls, while supporting inventory accuracy and product traceability.  

Communicate audit findings, quality performance metrics, and recurring issues to leadership to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.  

Partner with cross-functional teams to support quality, compliance, safety, training, and operational objectives across the Distribution Center.  

Adhere to quality policies, procedures, and quality management system requirements, including Good Documentation Practices (GDP). 

Promote a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence through participation in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. 

Skills/Qualifications

Required 
 

High School Diploma or GED 

Ability to read and interpret ruler measurements 

Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and time management skills 

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. 
 

Preferred 
 

Experience in quality, auditing, inventory control, or distribution operations 

Experience with SAP, CQATS, and/or Smartsheet 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel 

Ability to work overtime as required by the business
