Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Corporate Ergonomics Coordinator to provide assigned groups and location management across all Cintas Divisions with guidance and support regarding the effective administration of ergonomics programs and initiatives.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive management efforts for assigned group/locations to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses and in particular musculoskeletal disorders. 
  • Support group/location efforts to obtain and maintain recognition under the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program. 
  • Serve as ergonomics team resource for testing and ensuring ergonomics specifications are included in the design of work process and workstation improvements, new construction, and fleet vehicles. 
  • Coordinate efforts to share viable ergonomics improvements with all applicable divisions/locations. 
  • Ensure that change management associated with all ergonomics initiatives includes compliance with all governmental regulations. 

Skills/Qualifications

Required 

  • High School diploma/GED 
  • 5 years+ of safety experience 
  • Minimum of 2 years supporting ergonomics initiatives (2 years of Cintas Operations experience may be considered the equivalent of 1 year of full-time safety experience) 
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards 
  • Ability to recognize ergonomics risk issues and situations 
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and safety and health management systems and practices, and demonstrated experience in supporting an Ergo Excellence Center or ergonomics in an industrial setting and successfully implementing safety and health management systems 
  • Ability to recommend, develop, implement, and drive ergonomics strategies and plans 
  • Willingness to travel 40% of time 
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), SharePoint 

 

Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Safety, or related field  
  • Project Management course completion or certification 
  • Experience in event planning
